So this was a bit of a lazy workout day. I did the following only:
Seated Leg Press: 310 lbs, 3 sets of 8 reps each
Leg Extensions: 130 lbs, 3 sets of 8 reps each
Toe Raises: 3 sets of 20 reps each
Calf Raises: 3 sets of 20 reps each
Then I ran on the treadmill for half a mile – this time my shins weren’t hurting; my calves were. We’ll see how I do when I am not sore when I start.
After the treadmill I hit the stairs again and climbed 20 stories. Then I packed up and walked a mile home. Not a lot of cardio today, but I just really wasn’t feeling it. I’m going to add a quarter mile each time I run next week and beyond until I reach a point where it starts hurting. At least I will have a limit figured out then.
