So I had a bit of a lazy day on Friday. I hiked about a mile to the bowling alley and bowled for about an hour (well, I pretended to bowl – mostly I just threw the ball and hoped some pins would leap out of the way), and then I hit the gym.

All I did was the bench press, but I think I overdid it a little with my warmup – I did 4 reps of 135 and then 4 of 185 before starting, and I think I will just do 8 of 135 now.

Bench Press: 220 lbs, 3 sets of 8, 7, and 5 reps each

Today I am back to the whole shebang, doing 225 lbs. Also, I weighed myself this morning again (228 lbs) but at least my waist is about a half inch smaller. We’ll see if that lasts.
